Oil and Gas Market

Engineered Shapes for Oil and Gas Applications

In the oil and gas industry, engineered profiles must withstand extreme pressure, mechanical stress, corrosive media, and demanding operating environments. Plymouth® manufactures the materials trusted throughout the industry to perform under those conditions. Our oil and gas products are used across exploration, drilling, and production applications, including sucker rods, pup joints, drill rods, and deep-hole drilling components, where strength, toughness, and dimensional consistency are critical. Supported by advanced inspection and testing, value-added heat treatment, and specialized oil and gas production mills, we collaborate with customers to deliver powerful solutions that meet stringent industry and field-performance requirements.

Oil & Gas Applications:

  • Valve bodies
  • Drill rods
  • Equipment housings and protective profiles
  • Pup joints
  • Supports and channels for piping systems
  • Sucker rods
  • Components exposed to seawater
