Warrenville, IL – Plymouth Tube Company is pleased to announce Gary Minta as its new Vice President of Finance and Administration. Mr. Minta will be replacing Dave Barnes who was named Plymouth Tube’s Chief Operating Officer in January 2012.
Mr. Minta brings to Plymouth Tube an extensive background in Finance and Operations with private, family-owned, multi-facility manufacturing companies. Most recently, Mr. Minta was the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Vice President of Pro Equine Group, Inc., located in Deerfield, IL. In this position, he led the turn-around of several companies from loss to profit status as well as the acquisition and integration of a manufacturing company with $40 million annual sales revenue.
Prior to his tenure at Pro Equine Group, Mr. Minta held senior positions as CFO and VP of Finance at The Fitzpatrick Company, Corporate Controller at Hu-Friedy Mfg. Co., Inc. and Controller at Revell-Monogram, Inc.
Mr. Minta holds BA and MBA degrees from DePaul University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is currently a member of Illinois C.P.A. Society, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, A.I.C.P.A. Tax Division, and the Institute of Management Accountants.
