At a Power Generation Material Selection Conference (PGMSC) held by Plymouth Tube Co. in 2008, owner of a Metals and Materials Consulting Engineers, explains various methods which will help metals achieve corrosion resistance. The 3 day conference consisted of presentations pertaining to a vast variety of tubing material issues and considerations. Topics included Stainless Steel, Titanium, Cu-Ni to Carbon and Alloy material overviews, production and testing methods, corrosion fundamentals and water chemistry for energy applications.
