WARRENVILLE, IL – Cam Valle, Director of Human Resources at Plymouth Tube, is proud to announce that the Plymouth Tube Streator Mill has received the 2017 Rusty Demeules Award for Safety Excellence. Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA) and CNA Insurance Safety present this award annually to recognize companies with an exceptional safety culture. This is the second year in a row that Plymouth Tube has received the award, demonstrating a dedication to safety across the company.

Plymouth Tube was founded in 1924 and is currently headquartered outside of Chicago with 8 manufacturing sites across the US. The Streator, Illinois, location manufactures cold drawn seamless alloy and carbon tubing, specializing in small diameters and custom shapes.
Plymouth Tube Streator has long been committed to safety and has introduced initiatives such as the Safety Engagement Program, which focuses on safety tours, meetings, observations and safety suggestions from employees. These suggestions help to generate improvements throughout the facility. Employees also participate in a daily stretch program to help ensure their minds and bodies are ready for a safe day at work.
