STREATOR, IL- On Friday Oct. 23, employees from Plymouth Tube Company’s Streator mill reached 1,000 days of being accident and injury free. Instead of a typical work day, employees were rewarded with a celebration for their hard work and commitment to safety.
“It has been quite a journey for us and every day brings new challenges and opportunities as we all know, but the employees of Streator have made a concerted effort to put safety first. For that effort, we are extremely proud,” said General Manager of Streator Cam Ville.
Earlier this year, Streator was awarded one of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association’s FMA/CNA Safety awards which honors companies who had perfect safety records for the 2014 calendar year. By reaching 1,000 days, Streator has reached a major milestone in creating and maintaining a culture of safety.
