Warrenville, IL- Plymouth Tube Co. announced details of an online auction it is holding for retired equipment. The auction will take place Dec. 2 through Dec. 9, 2015 and will feature equipment and machinery no longer needed in the company’s ongoing operations.
Items featured in the auction will include tube-producing and metal-fabricating equipment such as Motors and Transformers, Turks Head Straightener, Pickling System, Chamfer and Polisher Machines, CNC Mills and Lathes, and more.
Earlier this year, Plymouth consolidated two of its plants which both offered product lines for the Power Generation industry. This consolidation included moving the production of the popular SEA-CURE® condenser tube line from East Troy, WI to the Plymouth facility in West Monroe, LA. Remaining equipment no longer needed from the East Troy plant will be included in the auction. Plymouth’s Trent plant, also in East Troy, WI was not affected by the move and its product offering has not changed and remains expansive to serve the diverse needs of its customer base.
